Dark circles

Dark circles are a frequent aesthetic concern. They are due to hereditary causes, the structure of the lower eyelid, the thin skin of the area and its vascularisation and, of course, to fatigue or short hours of sleep. They may exist from a young age or appear later and be exacerbated by the thinning of the skin and the loss of fat under the eye over time.

A very efficient treatment is the use of hyaluronic acid in the area under the lower eyelids. This increases the distance of the epidermis from the vessels of the area and attenuates the dark shade of the lower eyelid. Usually the result is impressive.
